Day 1: Steve Aoki Was Ripping Packs With Us Hours Before He Took the Stage
Hours before he opened the main stage at UNTOLD ONE, Steve Aoki sat down with us for the first live pack opening of the weekend — and it never slowed down.
Sunday evening, just hours before Steve Aoki lit up the UNTOLD ONE main stage, he was sitting at a very different kind of table — ours. No lights, no crowd, just a stack of packs and the Gamerz Center crew across from him, with the clock quietly running down to his set.
The evening
Live #1 ran from 21:30 to 23:00, a tight window carved out before Steve had to get ready for his set. On the table: Pokémon, One Piece and a few surprises pulled straight from Gamerz Center’s own stock. It’s the kind of window most people would spend warming up. Steve spent it ripping packs.
Sasha Aoki, Steve’s wife, pulled up a chair too, and it turned out she had a golden touch of her own. Hits started showing up from the very first packs and just kept coming, one after another, for the whole session.
The energy matched the moment: total, contagious, from the first minute to the last pack. By the time the table wound down, Steve still had a main stage to get ready for — and looked like he’d already had the best part of his night.
The highlight cut at the top of this page is 1:56 of packs, reactions and Sasha’s hit streak, back to back.

What was on the table
Nothing scripted, nothing held back for the cameras — just whatever was already in the rotation that week, opened exactly like it would be on any other night.
- Pokémon, straight off the shelf
- One Piece, mixed in from early on
- A handful of surprises pulled from Gamerz Center’s own stock
Thank you, Steve and Sasha, for bringing that energy to our table before you took it to the main stage. See you at the next rip. 🃏
